Roman Hill

Have a short walk from our hotel and you will find yourself on a very important archeological spot. This place north from Donau and Roman city Vindobona (now Vienna) was Roman army camp (oppidum) for almost 20,000 legionaries build in the deep of enemy territory by Marcus Aurelius. This camp was intended as the capital city of new Roman province Markomania.
